I have been working with computers since I was very young. As I learned more and more about computers, I developed the attitude that the computer should do what I want it to do. They are supposed to be here for us, right? Make our lives easier? A lot of times with computers, there is an easy way to get the thing to do what you want it to. The trick is finding the easy way. That is what I want to teach people. My goal is to help you make the computer work for you so that you can be at ease with your computer and use them with confidence.
Education
I have degrees in Computer and Information Science and Elementary Education from the University of Florida. I worked as an elementary school teacher for three years. This unique combination of computer education and teaching experience gives me the skills to teach computers to just about anyone. And in addition to teaching people about computers, I am also continuing my own computer education. I have earned several professional industry certifications as a Microsoft Certified Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate, CompTIA A+ certifed technician (click to learn more) and Network+ certification. I am currently studying to earn my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification.
